Bio:Jay brings 45 years of welding and industry experience from across Silicon Valley into the classroom. A former student of what was then known as the San Jose Regional Vocational Center School, he attended from 1973 to 1975 before beginning a long career in the trade.
Over the course of his career, Jay worked throughout Silicon Valley and also owned and operated his own business for two years. After retiring, he felt a strong desire to return to the field in a new way by teaching and sharing the skills and knowledge he gained throughout his career.
Why do you teach Career and Technical Education?To teach others my trade and skills for this competitive industry. A skilled welder may loose a job, but no will take away his or her skills of welding. |
