Every semester, we add new CTE programs, so be sure to check back regularly. If a class you’re interested in isn’t available this winter/spring, it might be offered in the fall. Also, don’t forget to explore other courses we offer through our side navigation for even more options to elevate your career!

Culinary Arts

Students will learn about kitchen safety and sanitation, equipment usage, facility management, knife skills, and food preparation. Upon completion, students will earn a SERVSafecertification. Click here for more about course

Fundamentals of Dental Assisting

This course covers various topics such as dental team roles, ethics, oral anatomy, infection control, and relevant laws. Students who complete the course will earn certifications in radiation safety, infection control, and CPR. Click here for more about course

Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC)

Students will learn HVAC maintenance, overhaul, repair, and adjustment of residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration units. Upon completion, students will earn EPA 608 and Green Certification. Click here for more about course

Introduction to Python

Students will learn the fundamental Python concepts including IO, operators, control flow, functions, and basic object-oriented programming. Click here for more about course

Medical Assistant

Students will demonstrate mastery in front and back medical office procedures. Students may begin the program at the start of any module, as space is available. (Year-long course) Click here for more about course

Prerequisite: Within the first five months of class, students must have the following tests/shots: TB, MMR, Varicella titer, Hep B, Tdap, flu (during flu season). Students must complete a high school diploma or equivalency by course completion date.

Medical Assistant Back Office

Assist physicians in the back office of a doctor’s office or clinic with basic patient care procedures, including lab work. A 120 to 160 hours clinical assignment at a different site by arrangement is required. Click here for more about course

NEW: Medical Terminology with ESL Support

This class is designed for English language learners as a stepping stone into a healthcare pathway. Learn and recognize word roots, prefixes, and suffixes used in medical language. Learn how to combine words to create meaningful medical conditions, comprehend their definition, and know the correct spelling. Click here for more about course
