Silicon Valley Adult Education offers High School Equivalency classes in English. Registration is free for HSE classes. All students will take the CASAS reading and math assessment for placement and meet with a counselor before they are registered in a class. Students must be able to speak, read, and write English. HSE exams are offered in a computer-based format on the Silicon Valley Adult Education campus.
Prerequisite: All students will take the CASAS reading and math assessment before they are assigned in a class.

Spanish GED High School equivalency
This course offers an accelerated path for High School Equivalency (HSE) students to complete their high school education. Instruction and instructional material will be delivered in Spanish, and GED Testing in Spanish is available on-site by authorized Pearson-Vue testing.
Prerequisite: All students will take the CASAS math assessment for placement before they are registered in a class.
